As soon as Prem Kapoor walks in on screen, you know that this is yet again a character that Salman could essay even in his sleep. Prem is an eligible bachelor coming from an extended family, full of loving members.

Sanjana Chowdhuri (Asin), a runaway bride, takes advantage of their goodness and joins the family as Prem's prospective bride. When she is hanging from a cliff and he saves her life, predictably, love happens.

But, Sanjana has problems back home in the form of two vicious mamajis (Sharath and Akhilendra). Both want her to marry their respective brothers-in-law to usurp her Rs 200 crores property. Prem decides to rescue her with the help of his obliging family.

The first half doesn't ensue much story wise, but is mostly funny. The dialogues from Sajid-Farhad vary from being funny to mildly irritating to downright corny.

It's the second half that gets most of the action and sheer chaos.

There are too many characters (about 20 odd) and each of them seems to sincerely believe that the noisier they are, the funnier they will be. Agreed that noisy melodrama is Anees Bazmee's way of proving that he is sticking to his trademark cinema, but the constant barrage gets to you and by the time you reach a really earsplitting climax, you are exhausted.

The most annoying characters in the film have to be a pampered rotten school-going kid (Mohit Baghel) and his mother with an impressive vocab of choicest abuses and a loudspeaker of a voice.

The best thing about the movie, of course is Salman Khan. His fans will not be disappointed and yes, they will get to see him topless in the climax. He is a delight to watch, especially in those already popular songs, Dhinkachika ¦ and Main karoon toh saala character dheela hai.... Asin is average. It seems like Sarath Saxena and Akhilendra Mishra were clearly instructed to go overboard and they have obeyed the director.

A special mention of Mahesh Manjrekar has to be made. As Salman's dad, who has a memory loss problem, he is excellent. His comic timing could be exploited better.
